                • Ming, I've been using it every time I play, I don't even know why my old putter is still in the bag. I've slowly sunk to the realisation there is no magic putter out there just waiting to turn me into Rah on the greens so it'll take work for me to get used to it, at least I've stopped blaming putters for my lack of skill . It's still a big improvement over my other putters, I just have to get used to the insert on longer putts.

But it was surreal when Rah broke his driver, we were all looking at the ball as it started out left zooming along the tree line and then cutting back toward the fairway, quite a good drive. Rah was the first to notice the head of the club had disappeared and I remember looking over at him and catching a glimpse of the clubhead tumbling along the teebox. Rah looked like someone in a sword fight who just watched his sword get broken in half - a look of dis-belief combined with the look of terror as he realises his primary weapon is now gone.

But Rah and I are pretty even, we basicly tied at Kemper and I think we were about tied at, what was the second course we played? My only clear win came the second time we played Steeple and that was because I went +1 on the front nine as we were about tied on the back 9. Combine my driving with his putting and we'd have a helluva game.

                        Otherwise, I'm confused.

                        • He's passed the point where he even attempts to have his +1's make sense.

At least it's better technology. But I'm still convinced that confidence is what makes a person a good putter.

That's the closest I've come to crying on a golf course.

I'll still concede that you are the better player and I hope we get the chance for a rematch. (My new driver is pretty hot, but I still can't hit it like you can)

                            • Banging big drives is good but hitting greens is what really counts.

I look forward to the rematch. Hopefully, there won't be gale force winds the next time
