WELL YOUR pitching looks good when you don't face a dh....both mussina and petite can match your big guns pretty good...

Not facing a DH, always a silly argument. over the course of the year, per pitcher it's amounts to a few less hits, so it's barely significant. Especially since the average start is less than 7 innings and they're facing pitch hitters from the 6th inning on when they're still in.
At least our pitchers can hit. I think Pryor is batting around .350.
While statistically it makes a small difference, GOOD pitching is still good pitching and I'll take the Cubs staff.
(besides, cut me some slack, the yanks always have good pitching, it's rare that cubs fans can say that)

And in five years, (the owners and players better not **** it up)
