Earthling7: That´s it! CTP isn´t the fun CivII is. It´s slow and very boring in the end of a game. I won it one time and deinstalled it. Surprised? CTP isn´t a sequel to CivII, it´s just a bad, bad copy!

Sorry for replying so VERY late, but here it is.

It was a strange bug. I tried everything, but nothing worked. After reinstalling Windows (for a different reason) I was able to reinstall CTP. I have since tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it worked fine. Just to erase all doubt, I did uninstall it the first time around, I did not delete it. Also, I am using a legal, purchased version of the game.

The first post in this thread is a big misunderstanding and if I was unclear I apologise. I never said I wouldn't buy CivIII. I am waiting for it and will buy it as soon as it gets released. I was talking about CtPII. Please re-read the article. Still, if that game gets good reviews I will reconsider.

The point I was trying to make is simple, and I am not the first one to say this. Don't release a game until it's finished.

Having said that, Settlers III bust be the best of them all. The game came on two CDs and there was a floppy with a patch in the box. There would be many more downloads anyway.

About playability, Civ2 kicks CtP easily.

So, I apologise for being unclear, and I will be the first one to buy CivIII.

      Greetings,
