    What are your favourite scenarios?
    Why?
Do you like the "modern times" scenarios (WW II, Red Front) more than the "ancient times" ( ) ?
    Please rate difficulty and fun.
    Thx.

Age of Piracy (v2) by Shay Yates Roberts - This was the first modpack scenario, and is still fun. It's not too hard, but it is very fun to sail about, plundering and raiding.

I prefer ancient era scenarios. However, I've had much fun with the spanish theme scenarios made by Jay Bee, such as:
Alba de America is fun and challenging to win
Of Celts and Iberians - ancient era, cool campaign as the romans in iberia
The first President of the first Apolyton Democracy Game (CivII, that is)

Try the links at the bottom of the forum page ...
        Scenario League, CSC, Spanish Site
or go to the civ2 home page here http://apolyton.net/civ2 and click on 'database' near the top left...

The Spanish Civilization Site has a link right on the main Apolyton Page. So does the Scenario League. Most scenarios I've ever played appear on one of those two. As an added bonus, the SL provides reviews of scenarios, as well.

Well, I agree with Marquis. Most of the scens that I play come from the Spanish Civilization Site.

Scens from ancients time to XVII or XVIII are my favourites. All Jay Bee's scens from Spanish History are quite good. My favourites are: Spanish Pride and Age of Thunder. Kindal is another good scen-maker, his Carolus is a very thougth one.

Harlan have many good scens: I love Lord of the Rings' one.

I know that I'm letting out many, many good designers... Sorry for that,

You can look at that not-so-old thread here: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...0&pagenumber=2
I'd like to point out two scenarios I like particularly: Prince of Darkness by Techumseh, and Seeds of greatness by Kull. I think you can find both on civfanatics. Or look in Scenario League.
The first one I got just this sunday because I had trouble ToT-converting it before, and I spent all my time on it till now... and plan to try it again now... err... no, after I sleep. It is very hard, very original and very fun. You may not realize you are going to get you butt kicked until it is too late.
The latter is historical, difficulty is OK, and it is really civ, but from the stone to the iron age. Lots of fun using the mighty chariots, and later the legions.

*30 Year War: not so hard, beatiful.
*Great Northern War: well made, hard. (there are 2 GNW scenarios, I mean the better one, that has own graphics etc.)
*Hellenistic Age: my favorite, well made, lots of stuff, quite hard.
                  *Crusades: gottu love those Knights
*Of Celts And Iberians: Conquest Of Silver Country: simply good.
*Fall Of Great Kesh: quite old scenario, not so good but it captured my imagination. I found this one easy.

all of these are fun, that why they are my favorites.

and no I do not like modern scenarios, I prefer Historical or Fantasy
