  • Ideas for succession games

I have some ideas for some succession games:
    1) the multi-nation successsion game:
all players must come from different nations.
    2) parallel succession game:
two teams play the same nation on the same map; it would be interesting for newbies like me to see the differences in the playing styles.
    3) 12 cities succession game:
only twelve cities are allowed to build
    4) no wonder succession game:
no wonders allowed (I think, a real challenge, even for the experts)
    anybody interested?

Ramses II, just start, someone will follow! (be sure to specify if you're playing MGE, 2.42 or others )

As soon as the current pile of succession games clears out, I plan to begin one on a large real-world map. 7 civs, raging hordes, etc. Perhaps not on deity if the non-deity players want to be included. (I actually prefer to play on emperor, the micromanagement of deity is less fun to me)

Another idea, Ramses II., is to play a scenario. We've had good fun with that.

              Some other ideas:
The vet succession game fo civ veterans over 40 years (What about you, SG[1] ? are you over 40 like me?)
The no-ship succession game (it isn't allowed to build any ships, but it is allowed to bribe them).

                54!

I generally play island worlds - a no-ship game would be testing (bloody impossible?) as a SP challenge - I somehow don't think it could fly as a Succession Game

Why should we let the kiddies join us grown-ups?
