I don't think many people have left. The Civ 2 section has picked up recently - now the hype over Civ 3 has subsided.

I am about ready to go back to Civ 2.
I have a CivIII game in progress and I find myself dreading to go back to it a little
more each time. The program takes ages to load, you can't see the clock, the
animation slows the game down, response is slow. Want to talk to the advisors?
Just click on the balloon, then wait....
One thousand one...
One thousand two....
One thousand three...
(yawn)....It's not a game, it's a lifestyle!

I'm still kicking, Civ2 scenarios rock these days!Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.
