Not remotely about CivII but I just have to scream about how disappointing the film is.

It should be called "The Film Which Has the Same Name as the Lord of the Rings But Everything is Changed for No Apparent Reason".

I'm not even being nit-picky. There isn't a single scene that is consistent with the books. Not one. Nix pix.

Cool spec. effects though...

I already made my point on the OT forum a couple of weeks ago.

I didn't actually see this movie, but why waste money on it if the critics said it was no good and it didn't stick to the original story.
