  • When is the middle of the game?

    especially on deity, it seems I hardly blink and it's 1AD. I always feel so far behind, until about 1850, when it all of a sudden s t r e t c h e s out.

Does anyone know offhand just when the midpoint of the game is? is it 1750? or 1850?

I just don't know how to gauge where I am in the game.

so, at 210 turns, about 1770 is the halfway point?

        That's right...at Deity level.

smash only plays Deity; that's why he forgot to mention it

(La Fayette, ready to confess that he also only plays Deity)

Of course, when either smash or myself is playing, 1770 is not the middle of the game. We are already in bed when the 17ies approach...
