Would you play Civ if you knew it was implanted with Satanic messages?

Good Lord, a thread resurrection from 1999!

But to answer the question, didn't you all know that Civ is a training program of sorts for the Forces of Darkness (tm)? They're taking the best and brightest of the Civ players to advanced training that will, eventually, turn out Dark Generals (tm) to command the Armies of Darkness (tm). The rest of the Civ players will become Dark Soldiers (tm).

Horse must be clever , he knew 3 years ago that civ 3 would be a product of the devil.

We knew that when BR left. Stayed in denial until the fool thing finally hit the shelves. Now BR has gone over to the Dark Side…

BTW, it's amusing to see that AH's status is 'guest'
AH and Iain Lindley (now *End is Forever*) lost their accounts in late 2000 or 2001 when Mark Upgraded the Fora to VBBoard.

Mao also lost his account as he reached Deity level, received a PCR, recovered Deity level- had his account *deleted* achieved 20 posts... then got his account back

Ok from what I saw in this thread is: there are a lot of people which seems to have too much free time and one strange guy with a weird sense of humour and yes I would love to play Civ II because you seldom play the advises backwards in the game and therefore you don't hear if after all and furthermore the first thing I did after buying the game was turn these advisors off because what do they recommend: Research this...,Trade with your neighbours,....(oh really useful hints ). I don't think even one person plays with the advisors except AH perhaps Satan himself orders him to listen to them

Thanks DC! I was wondering why some of the old timers are 'guests' in the old threads and other have their current status.

After all, that means you still have 13 minutes of solid gameplay.

I wonder if St Leo will explain his post?
