    Gits, this is an ultimatum
Post your file (the number of turns you've played doesn't matter) by the coming saturday (30th of march) or I shall downlad the latest saved game available and proceed with the game.

    • OK JB - keep your hair on!!

The Admiral is playing it - he has captured Jerusalem for the good guys and fighting on at least four fronts - I shall try and get it uploaded tomorrow if he doesn't see this and upload it himself.

You're right, we should have done better - but Civ3 and RL got in the way for both of us. My apologies ...

      • Consequences Schmonsequenses!!
At something in excess of 1 and a half hours per turn we have emerged at 1277AD having captured Jerusalem, frightened Constantinople and made some inroads into France ...

JB you may enjoy the entrails ..... and the Capitol

        • Thanks Scouse Gits
I have downloaded the game and will try to play it next week
Since last december, you've certainly made a few stops on your way to Jerusalem

              • I have started the monster. I will try to play 4-5 turns before passing it to someone else
Please let me one full week
I am afraid we won't be able to conquer the whole world. What's more, we're at war with everybody
Scouse Gits, thanks for renaming London in my "honor"

                  • 1277 Eh, we are at war with everybody !
1278 More than 500 gold when 2 merchants arrive in Paris.
1279 We capture Acre with the help of an Inquisitor to relieve Jerusalem under heavy siege. We capture the french city of Genoa the same way. We make peace with the french. Heavy losses for the French and the Fatimids.
1280 Heavy sabotaging, some unit killings and some trade. Next turn should be more promising. We sneak attack the french, just for fun and some easy sweeping.
1281 We lose no troops at all for the first time, during the ennemies turn of play. Inquisitors destroy the wall of Constantinople. There is only 12 defensors inside. Let’s go ! We kill the emperor and capture Constantinople. We sink Andalus navy near Bretagne’s shores.
1282. French bribe back Gênes. Time for a new king to step up.

                    • The Fatimids are attacking Tarentum repeatidly and have a too easy life in south Italia. Something should be done there. The cities of the Byzantine empire should be bought easily, they have no capital. The war agains the french is progressing very slowly. There is only “escarmouches” with the Andalous and the Seljuksk, for now. If I remember correctly, the scenario ends in 1291. We should hurry up.

No just kidding, it should be Lafayette.

                        • I'll do my best but:
When I played this game on my own last summer, I finished conquering all 21 objective cities in 1286.
Now, in this succession game, we own 5 objective cities in 1282 and there are 16 left to conquer .
That's too many, even for a greedy conqueror .
                          Anyway I'll do my best...

                            • I managed to conquer Paris, Athens and Smyrna (then Tripolis just after the AI told me that this was the end of the scenario) and we have won , since the AI calls this game a Seliuq decisive defeat and grants us the tittle of 'Mighty' with a score of 146%).
But a few more turns would have been very useful, since my strong reinforcements were one turn away from Antioch, after having conquered all the southern coast of Anatolia .
(just for fun, I also lost Jerusalem after a strong Fatimid attack of a dozen units, but took it back with one knight that I had left in Acre ).

Still, I found this an interesting scenario, with nice special units and interesting strategical question marks (especially when 4 different leaders have 4 different opinions about what to do next ).
