Everyone:
Just what the subject line implies. It seems that after I quit playing a session of Civ II and then restart "x" amount of time later, the AI civs renew the game with a tech they didn't have at the end of the last session.
Recently, I couldn't remember how the English got "chemistry." Yet they had it and I swear upon the Bible they didn't have it at the end of my last playing session. I pride myself on watching what the AI acquires, too. Also, I've personalized my game so the AI cannot acquire techs via trading or through occupying cities. I've also wiped all the goody boxes. So there's no way the English could've gotten "chemistry" that way.
I'm probably just being paranoid. Guess it's natural, considering all the programming advantages the AI can use against the human player.
