      I'll say. It's pretty weird.

I'm going to completly agree with Derek's post, here.

Meanwhile, it's interesting to see the Derek, Alexander's Horse, and Hodad were all posting but not registered in January of 2000.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

          Everyone:

I definitely role-play a lot of my Civ games. I've even changed the names and characteristics of a few civilizations — the Zulus are now the Draka and I'm considering turning the Greeks permanently into the Amazon Nation.

C'mon, Dunk, that's not fair. Playing Fundie against the AI is like that celebrity boxing match between Tanya Harding and Paula Jones: it isn't even fun to watch.

I definitely role-play to some extent, only allowing change of government once for any type. Can't go back to Monarchy from Republic, or back to Rep if I change to Dem or Com. I usually stay in Rep because it isn't as hard to field an army but still allows growth by celebration.

I happen to know that AH was definitely not a guest in 2000. He's been here quite a bit longer than that. Also, posting by guests is not enabled here. If your login gets axed (deleted by moderators or server glitch) then all your posts lose the profile data, so it says "guest."
