You started the game and now you don't have time to play anymore? That's sad. You must be REALLY short on time if you can't play Civ 2 for 10 miuntes once a week. (Well at least that's all I play)
But We will press on with out you.

So is this game ever going to complete a revolution? 20/15 turns DOES NOT take long. Oh well. Obviously not a very reliable mean to play a game..........or maybe its just the group?

Sorry for being impatient, I just thought it would be moving faster than it is. Hopefully all snags have been fixed and we can move along with it now. If I get it on Sunday, I'll probably be able to get it out probably by Tuesday night.
I'll be sending it to KcBob right? (since CTG bailed)

I actually would have had the game out sooner, but we had power outages throughout Sunday and Monday due to heavy winds, so I had to wait. I also wanted take the time to put together a little summary of my 15 turns and post it on the boards. Is there still a thread for posting our narratives concerning this game?"Three word posts suck!" - me

I would send your triumphant scrolls to Scouse Gits. He might still be posting them on the succession site. Then again, you might as well post them here (if they're not too long, say less than 20,000 words).

Game passed on to Drake 4pm GMT Saturday. Let me know if you dont get it.
The Scrolls:
Fergus the Ill-informed took charge of the Apolyton empire at the end of 580 AD. Barbarians threatened Nikea and Off Topicus, and war raged with the English and the Sioux. The coffers were depleted, but numerous Wonders were well underway, and many cities were building caravans.
Fergus quickly negotiated peace with the Sioux, because he had no idea where they were. He got Iron Working from them too. The English stubbornly refused to treat, probably because of our crap reputation, so we produced a trireme and a few diplos to set up an embassy and destroyed granaries in London and York.
Three weak English invasions were easily repelled, and we even managed to sneak Salt and Hides caravans in for 140 gold in total.
The Barbarians were defeated at Nikea, at some expense, and Off Topicus easily. A further onslaught was repelled at New Bohlen. A wandering crusader encountered the Japanese in Persia, and destroyed the newly founded city of Satsuma, taking 52 gold. This glorious veteran found another 50 in a hut, and persuaded some Himalayan nomads to join the empire.
The discovery of Democracy was completed, and we took advantage of the high levels of unhappiness to turn entertainers into specialist scientists. This upped the Science rate from 15 to 9, and the secret of Chivalry should be ours by the end of the century. Meanwhile, the Sioux have discovered Gunpowder, so they must be watched.
The empire's expansion on to the fertile steppes and Mesopotamia continued with the founding of Caspian View and Kiev Oasis.
We have built many temples, we have a navy and a diplomatic corps. Leonardo has finished his workshop. The coffers are replenished somewhat. "Your name here", the Glutton of Apolyton, passes on the baton.
