  • Battle in my front yard (OCC)

something rather funny happend in my OCC game last night (or should i say, this morning?; my first ever OCC by the way)

I was allied to the greek and the vikings
but they were at war with each other
now, my one city was right on their border, as a result, units from both sides were marching up to eachother and killing eachother RIGHT NEXT TO MY CITY
almost felt like grabbing some popcorn and watching the show

as a sidenote, can someone directy me to the OCC FAQ or strategy gyde or whatever it's called

    it's in the great library.
Any man can be a Father, but it takes someone special to be a BEAST

I was just about to point out that Horsie is simply making excuses in advance for why he will suck at Civ III...

And for those that don't understand that, check out the title of the top thread in the Strategy Forum (its currently a 'sticky' thread, so for now its always on top)

A couple of posts on the 2nd page (by Father Beast) have a collection of links in them, one of them being Paul's OCC guide.

It happened in my first attempt at OCC10. In OCC it's no longer popcorn- popping time when sticky allied units in your territory in the end game occupy the polluted square your two Engineers need to get to.

You're lucky they didn't demand you declare war on the other one, under the terms of your alliance, and then declare war on you when you refuse.
              Always happens to me!
