Just giving a hint that the latest The Column (#219), which happens to be by me, is about Civ II, so you might be interested to read it.

I agree with it. Civ2 is much better. I'm actually still making scenarios... someday I might even submit one.
Civ3 needs an events.txt. That was it's biggest failing, IMO.
