Of course the little tyke would be much better off if his father does teach him someone else's stratagy instead of his.

Only getting 32 gold from a caravan delivered to a large enemy city. Jeeze, he probably didn't even prime the delivering city prior.

Sorry, couldn't pass this one up.

I introduced my 10yr old daughter last year as she was learning Ancient History. She likes the building part of the game, but not the fighting. Probably the opposite of AH's son (although why Phalanxes?). We've discussed history, economics, technology, diplomacy - wish we could get some credit for this in homeschool...

Yep, teaches all the bad habits. But I think that's AH's plan so he can continue being the best player in horsie land.

Wait'll Ming and/or rah see this - they'll insist you're teaching him bad habits by letting him play Chieftain.

He's not like me, more like his mother. Smart as a whip.

I'm worried he'll soon be beating me - I think I'll turn the advisors on to screw up his game

The Chieftain level is excellent for teaching the game if you turn the tips on.

Maybe I'll dust off civ 1 so we can play some hotseat.

Obviously a cheap ploy to build the +1(x2) wonder, now that DrSpike's let the secret out.
