Mmm.
I have a simple soultion for you all. Tweak Civ III! I've had it for about 6 months now, and now Im on my 27th version (I will oneday make it availble when I can be bothered. Yes, I did find some of the units confusing, many of them deadends (ie Cavalry now can be upgraded to Riflemen, representing what happened during WW1) tweaked the world map (orgaginly Marla's world map ) and changed some of the Stratgic Resorces needed for Units (Did you know Coal was only needed for the Ironclad?) This made it better (in my view) to play. How can you defeat an enemy which will never accept defeat?

A revisit to civ3
I got Civ3 for christmas the year it came out. Like alot of you I tried to get into it and quickly went back to Civ2. But recently I decided to try Civ3 again (I played about 6 fantasy ToT games in a month on civ2 and needed a change). I actually enjoyed it. I like the culture/boarder idea. One of the few things I hate about Civ 2 is the fact that enemies get in that zone of control and I can't move my settlers in the city area. Civ 3 gives you a shape of your civilization.I am between being a Man of God and a God of Man

Exepmt,
1) if they wanna attack you
2) if there is some fine piece of land on the other side of your territory
3) or there they enemy on the other side of your territory and you were not so good pal to give him RoP
P.S.
And you can always ask them to leave (but can be risky if you are weak, in which case why won't they violate borders if you can't enfore the opposite).
