  • Finding CivII Multiplayer

After playing v2.42 for years, I discovered Succession Games and found a need for MPGE to follow along. But, I had waited too long and it was no longer available. After months of searching second hand bookstores and auction sites I finally hit on the right path through e-bay to a page offering mostly used disks and have obtained a game disk of my own. This one was still sealed in the original box.

Since many others seem to be looking for "Gold" like I was, I thought I would share my results with the Community. I cannot remember how I got to this page, but, here is the link...http://search.ebay.com/search/search...tc=allcategory

Hope that is helpful. BTW, don't bother looking for a patch on the CivII page or in the Great Library (the GL link is a 404). Lots of maps, scenerios, etc, but no way to get the v5.4 patch. I found that at civfanatics.com

    Happy Hunting!!
so long and thanks for all the fish

Civfanatics also have a patch to convert regular civ to MGE.

So if you allready have the original game you wouldnt have to buy it.

But you should buy it rather than pirate it.

And it won't wreak your computer. Many a hope has been dashed on those sharp rocks.

Plus, it's very cheap, <$20....maybe a lot less if nobody else bids.

Plus, way-double-plus, you get a new copy of the very valuable Advances Chart AND the nearly priceless manual

Seriously, how can you put a price on the feeding of our addiction?? It's two movie tickets worth, only it's not over in a few hours.
