    Does any one know what the maximum effective shield production of a city is? I currently have a city producing 178 shields yet is going to take 7 turns to build apollo. BTW im using my version of the rules.txt thats why im getting such a high shield output

    There's a problem with the calculation of the turns to complete a project. It may say that it takes you 7. turns but in reality it will take you only 4 turns with 178 shields. Just try it. This will happen when you produce more than a certain amount of shields (I think it's 100 but I'm not 100% certain of that).

      I thought so to, but it did take 7 turns to complete. There are otheroddities to like a 120 shield tank unit taking two turns to complete. Thanks for the reply though. Anybody else got any ideas??

        I ran into that problem in Nemo's Red Front at 100 shields. I was running 100 and 101 in Stalingrad and it was saying that producing a 100 shield unit would take 2 turns. The unit was produced every turn...

          thanks for the reply Sten but i have the save game files and it did take apollo 7 turns to build and it does take the tank unit 2 turns. does anyone know why this is??
