pandj....hmmm... well my internet account is also the one that my mom uses when she is online (not often) and her name is Pat. My name is Jeremy, put them togethr and you get p(pat)andj(jeremy)...pandj. Sometimes I use the alias of Koren, which is a character based upon myself (loosely) that I'm currently using in a series of short stories, that I hope will someday become a novel.

My handle is Aco, and I use it since 1982...
Orginally I used it at the arcademachines where you could enter your name in the highscore lists, and most of the time 3 characters were allowed.
The meaning of it is very simple; in the old days me and a friend programmed demo's for the C64, and one theme was a Texaco 3D proggie. It had a wiremodel of the Texaco logo and some scrolling texts. My friend was the 'Tex' and I the 'Aco' persons... ie Tex&Aco.
And since I play games on the PC I've kept this name... that's it.
Bye
Aco

OK. Techumseh was a Shawnee chief who organized an indian confederation to resist American expansion in the Indiana, Ohio and Michigan territories in the early 1800's. He led them north to fight on the side of the British during the War of 1812. When the British abandoned Detroit after the battle of Lake Erie, Techumseh was forced to follow them north. He was killed at the Battle of the Thames in 1813, covering the British retreat. He is considered a Canadian military hero.

My names Dave, and I come from London. I'm not a cockney though, I just use this name coz all people from London are either assumed to be upper class or cockneys. I am neither and do not like jellied eels.'Born from an egg on a mountain top.

Biggles was a fictious hero from the great days of the British Empire.
He used to fly a state of the art biplane rescuing damsels in distress from darsdardly Arabs and other sundry natives in the British Empire.
Of course he single handedly defeated the Hun in the 14-18 war.
In his spare time he would sort out Opium dealers around the World.
He was very chivalrous, saluting another pilot as he spiralled down, slowly burning to death.
His exploits were originally in the Boys Own Paper, but later appeared in hard back books.
These are now valuable collectors items and he has a cult following.
I was a pilot in the RAF-- Yes I am a wrinkly.
People started calling me Biggles, so I used it." There are no scientific facts, only historical ones and they are all biased."

I'm of Basque descent, and "Txurce" is my first name in Basque. I also go to the trouble of customizing the Spanish to Basque before every game. There's no way to automate any of this, is there?
I also change "Archbishop" to "General," since I prefer to view my Fundamentalist regimes as militarist rather than religious.

I appologize for my ignorance, but how should an english speaker pronounce "Txurce"?
And I'm pretty sure you can edit a .txt file and make the Basque effect permanent, somewhere on here I read a post that went through that technique, I believe it was related to changing/adding city names. Would the capital be Bilbao?
Keep up the posts these are interesting!Be the bid!

My name comes from a character in a series of mystery books set in Ancient Rome by Steven Saylor. Like the character, I am a curious kind of person.
Also, the author probably uses the appellation, "Gordianus" from the famous Gordian knot. That was a famous knot in the city of Gordium that was supposed to be so tied that no one could figure out how to untie it. Alexander the Great, when he came in the city on his way east, was shown the knot. Instead of figuring out how to cut the knot, he simply drew his sword and cut the knot. Hence, cutting the (or a) Gordian knot means solving an insoluble riddle or difficulty.
In short, I solve mysteries.

Uncle = I am one.
Sparky = I have been known to be.
Actually, I have a terrible memory for names and work in a business where knowing names is essential. I compensate by calling people "Sparky". Late one night a few years back. a group of omnibibulous "Sparkies" christened me Uncle Sparky. It stuck. There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

Sten Sture:
"Txurce" is pronounced just the way it looks.
Just kidding. It's sounds like "Choor-seh."
For sentimental reasons, my capital will be Guernica, site of the historic Basque oak that the German Condor Legion bombed during the Spanish Civil War. As soon as I round up enough city names, I'm changing one of the text files (a flag will take longer).
Thanks!
