help with error message, please

I'm getting this now when I try to play, or when I'm playing.

Civ2 caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at oooo:7b155247.

The program shuts down at this point. Am I doing something wrong, or is something wrong with my computer.

I also cannot get the program to play any of the songs during the game.

233, Windows 98.

Backup all save games, and reinstall.
