The people are likely devoting their time to questions about civ III and when it will be released, etc... They may come back to civ II later

I have a feeling the Civ2 forum will stay around a bit longer.

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

Well put cap tvk..... as long as civ2 is the superior civ building game out there, it will remain as the game of choice within the groups that i play with.

if civ3 somehow blows it out of the water then we may lay down this mighty warrior to a long and well deserved rest.

I have both all Civ 1, 2 and 3 and by no means is Civ 3 better than Civ 2, I prefer the latter of the two personally
