Usually I customize the rules to disallow eliminated civs from restarting. My last hotseat game with my neighbor had me killikng the Aztecs, then the Egyptians, then the Spanish. I thought I was done with the yellows, nope. To my supprise, I was able to kill BOTH the Spanish and the Aztecs AGAIN as they came back? I figured that once you get rid of a color it really goes away. This could allow that game of "How many Civ's can you kill" that was discussed awhile ago. If this continues one could kill an infinate amount of civs rather than just eliminating the entire color group.

FMK.... hey buddy..... nah the computer will only restart the civ if there is room for it to lay down a city or two.......
Now this doesnt' mean that you won't stumble across the new civ in two turns though
Which suffice to say is better than having to comb the whole map looking for a single city on an island in the middle of nowhere
i have had instances where i killed the aztecs three times in a game but the spanish and egyptians only once ?????? may have been a glitch........
I also now play with no restart civs as i find the computer on a large randome map will not usually kill a civ too early except when i find them of course
