    Hi All!

I've started to play civ a long time ago, as many of you, I think...

So, ask for this, is a bit annoying to me, but is the only way...

Recently I've started to play a Civ like game, on linux, it is called Freeciv.

It, more or less, is equivalent to civ II.

    Now, the question:

In civ II, how much unit of food consume a settler under communism?

(In my experience they cost 2 food, but there are people on the mailing list of freeciv that are saying the cost is 1 food)

    Could someone add his experience?

    Thanka in advance.

The default setting is that settlers eat two food in Civ II. You can mess with the rules.txt to change this, but the default setting is definitely 2 for version 2.42 and higher.

Either the manual or the Civilpedia SAYS that Commie settlers consume 1 food. However, in actual practice, is is, as DaveV says, 2 food for each settler under Communism, in 2.42 and MGE.

It's 2 food the settler needs under Communism(I'm sure of it since I'm most of the time a communist gov)
