I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I read the topic! The Civ II MPG cd NEVER leaves the drive! I think I play oh umm.... just about every night of the week! Tried alpha centauri and didn't like it and have heard bad reviews of CTP so addicted to Civ II I shall remain.

Of course I still play Civ2! Okay, not as frequently as I did in 97 and 98, but I still do. It's the best game of all time, hands down!
I have played MPE only once, in a friend's house...it is really hard to find it here in Brazil Nevertheless, I'm still addicted to Civ2 (and SMAC-not CTP anymore).

I have a Macintosh that is a permanent home to Civilization II. Also have the Gold Edition, but have removed it from my hard drive because none of the betas were capable of fixing an error w/i the program that caused it to crash half the time upon exit. Just received Civ: Call to Power and have played it a couple of times ... not quite as enamoured with it as I am CivII.
