I downloaded the game a couple of rounds ago to take a look at it. Frankly, I agree

When you guys earlier said you couldn't build any more units, I assumed you already had SOME units! It's basically spies, engineers, and a few offensive units now, right? Yow.

I don't have the no-limits patch or the gigaworld patch, but I'm more interested in seeing how you guys do than in taking a turn, myself, anyway!

Bit of help please

I've still got the game, and I'm afraid it's because I don't have the no-limits patch installed and can't find it on the new, improved apolyton (all my searches end in internal configuration errors). Julius, could you post a link to the patch please? Many thanks.

Thoddy's break takes a bit of the pressure off, but I should still be done by just after Christmas. Heck, I'll be done tomorrow if I can get the patch and can't get LoTR tickets. Meanwhile, I'll continue to panic...er, strategize.

In case Julius didn't answer yet: I got the patch from the download section at "the cradle of Civilization" site. I haven't got the link at hand but you should be able to get it there.

Thanks Marcel. Cradle of Civizaltion occurred to me late last night, but I'd already shut down and was just too lazy to reboot. I'll download tonight and play within the week. Good will toward men? I don't think so.

Gentleman, I'm afraid attempts to install the no limits patch on my system keep screwing things up; i'm sure the problem's with my system, not the patch, but I've neither the time nor patience right now (at the end of the semester) to get to the bottom of things. I'm going to pass this turn, but will with any lucj be able to play my next. Happy New Year, alien brothers! Good luck to all.

But Rufus, I don't see what could be wrong with this patch. When you get time it should install smoothly. If you have downloaded it correctly, I cannot imagine any problem
Just put everything in the correct folder
But don't worry, at the pace we're playing, earth won't be conquered before the end of the summer semester
