I have the save file and will play this weekend. Assuming Muad'Dib is MIA, johnmcd appears to be next on the list after me. Note to John after a quick check of the save - the sleaze factor is pretty high, and is liable to skyrocket during my tenure. Are you still interested in continuing?

Yikes! The save file I received is an MGE save. What do we do now? Play on and exclude some of the original players, or try to go back in time to a 2.42 save? I have the game on hold awaiting a decision...Comment

AD 800 save is on its way to johnmcd. A brief summary: I established a handful of new cities and built Marco Polo's Expedition (although none of the AIs is interested in my "worthless" maps). I discovered Engineering and Trade, and am about one turn from Invention.
