Game played and save file sent to Julius (ccs to kcbob and the SGs)

This should horrify the hardcore ICSers.

I went a little overboard on the number of turns . Sorry, got caught up in it.

AD 320: A new ruler, who shall become known as "The Peacemaker" takes control of the Sioux empire. Shaking his head in dismay at the state of the empire, he examines the cities. A caravan is used to complete the Wonder "Michealangelo's chapel".

The Germans are contacted, and peace is made in exchange for Philosophy. Banking is aquired in exchange for Monotheism. The republic is aquired in exchange for Engineering.

The Zulus agree to peace in exchanage for The Republic. Bridge building is aquired for Philosophy. Mathematics for Monotheism.

Peace is made with the Persians in exchange for construction. The Republic and Polytheism are gifted in exchange for the Persian maps.

Peace with the Aztecs in exchange for the Republic.

Greeks accept peace after a gift of Mathematics. The Republic is gifted in exchange for the Greek maps.

340: Our researchers direct their studies towards University. The Zulus begin construction of King Richards crusade.

The citizens of Big Mound celebrate their Love for the new Monarch.

360: Little Bighorn comletes aquaduct in preparation for WLTCD.

380: The new Sioux Republic is declared. Morning Rock, Naples and Issus founded. Copper caravan from Wood Lake to Little bighorn.

      400: Cunaxa founded.

460: University discovered. Invention is chosen as the next advance.

480: After a long reign, Thoth the Peacemaker retires. The empire has grown both in cities and in population thanks to the love of our citizens for the ruler. War has been declared with the Zulus over some horsemen wandering our territory. The treasury has increased to 212 gold from the meager 4 gold that our predecessors left us. We are making a profit of 21 gold per turn, and our researchers tell us that we should be making new discoveries every 8 turns. Construction has begun of a navy so that we may trade with foriegn nations. Caravans and settlers are under construction in most cities. The Empire flourishes.

500 AD. President Julius decides of the building of triremes to trade with foreign nations. Horsemen recruited to end Zulu threat.
520 AD Issus destroyed by Zulus. Zulu horsemen then killed. 580 AD President J questionnable plan of trading with other nations was put to a severe test by the sinking of a trireme with 2 caravans on board near Ngome. As the elecetions were right after tragedy, President J did not even to dare to run for reelection. In a last pathetic tentative to enter the books of history, the city of Singing Bird was also founded.

Hi, y'all. Sorry I didn't get this posted higher on this page but they've cracked down on surfing at work.

Anyway, let me take this time to say that this is one of the most fun succession games I've played yet. Thanks to all.

I couldn't agree more, this is a great game! I sure hope we can put together another game with the same or similar concept, like, Lightening Strikes II, or LS the Sequel, or something more original.

Ribannah, “on ne vit qu’une seule fois” (one can only live once). I took pity of all those little ICS citizen that had no fun at all in their whole existence and decided to gave them some luxuries to soften their lives.
More seriously, I loaded the game, looked at the production and decided on my failed foreign trade plan. I did not notice the luxuries were already at 40%. I think Toth did it to boost population. Now I recall that I had some "WLTPD ends" messages.
Sorry for my mistake, but “ma tête était dans les étoiles”. Luckily, I only played 5 turns. Shame on me ! I lost beakers, caravans and a city. I’m definitely no candidate for Player of the Month !
