The SGs in Red Wine - Fifth go at KC Bob's no ICS Succession Game
The date is 1876! We have rarely seen such large numbers and are rather confused.
We understood that our mean and nasty ICS ways were to be surpressed for the benefit of those people that love PERFECTIONISM!!!
Why are we building Factories in cities with a production of 4 (only 1 effective) shields?
Where are the airports?
Ooops - the Carthaginians just declared war! Silly Carthaginians.
1877 - One round of celebration puts about 5,000,000 on our population - now lets play this game - REVOLUTION! By the way - did Grandma not tell you that you require a supermarket for Farmland to be of any use?
1878 - Fundy!!!! 39 + 8 + only 1 - 11 modules to go!
1879 - not a lot
1880 - not a lot more
1881 - Detroit turns to the True Faith
1882 - just two more Modules needed ... Global warming just round the corner...
1883 - SS Perfection 39/8/4 launched ETA 1894 ... Much purchasing of Mass Transit & Recycling Centres - doesn't seem to have much effect in averting Global Disaster!
1884 - Carthage & Utica fall to our fanatical troops (and money)
1885 - Girba sees the error of its Republican ways (and the Carthaginian fleet ceases to exist) - for the second time this game our avaricious eyes turn towards Leptis Parva ...
1886 - Baltimore, Leptis Parva (Adam Smith) & Gades gleefully accept Conversion - against the Grand Admiral's advice an assault was launched against the Carthaginian capital at Panormus - it fell to our valiant troops and Malaca spontaneously saw the error of its ways and joined us (for a small transfer fee) - Carthage no longer has a capital (or the wherewithall to purchase one)

I am not a good player, but would like to participate in some future succession game. Do you think you would accept me despite my lack of skills?

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that you would most certainly be welcome. The more the merrier. And I wouldn't worry about your skill level. We're probably all lying about our own skill level anyway.

After reading the topic: "Sure - count me in!"
BTW: How many more people do we need? The thread seems to be quite old and not many seem to be interested in a ToT game.

Excellent!! When do you, people, plan to start a new succession game? What are the requirements (I have MGE and ToT)?

Roman, have you seen this topic for ToT ? http://apolyton.net/forums/Forum29/HTML/000915.html?5

Turns completed up to 1876 and game sent to Scouse Gits. It's easy, too easy. I didn't manage anything brillantly, and yet we are closer to victory.

Julius the Technocrat was elected president in 1867 for a 10 years mandate. He build more factories and more manufactured plants, went on with the space project and a hundred years before the cold war was wise enough to train some more spies. All was for the better with the strongest (by far) nation of the world. Julius the T. went mostly for gold to finance his building politics but took time to discover the Laser, Superconductors and Fusion Power. A few incidents happened but none of them bad enough to slow down our victory march.
In 1869, the Carthaginians declared war and sunk one of our destroyers with their new found bombers. In 1870 so did the Americans. And 1871 so did the Indians sinking a ship with a spy in it ! Our former foreign politic advisor is not very popular anymore.
The city of Didnotaskfor was founded also in 1871. Near Dallas, a single fighter kills all by himself 7 American diplomats in one turn ! In 1873 the Carthaginian city of Leptis Magna was captured and then a cease-fire was established. In 1876 Baltimore and the Eiffel Tower were captured. Peace was then established. Fools ! soon we shall send them postcards from Alpha Centauri.
