    Yeah, I've got v1.1 - very strange that I only start with one....I had a fiddle around in the rules.txt - nothing.

    Actually, a re-install mightn't be a bad idea, I'll see if that helps....

      My three ha'p'orth - I always get two settlers at Deity/Raging in 2.42 & MP - yes sometimes the AI doesn't get two - (do I care?)

        I did re-install, and all of a sudden I've started getting two....very strange, but there we have it. The game file must have been corrupted in some way or something....oh well, c'est la vie....
