The Germans appear to be mobilizing panzer-grenadiers to withstand our assault, as I have run into and destroyed quite a few of these mechanized divsions. Also, more anti-aircraft mobile sfdx divisions are encountered, and this slows up my advance considerably until my katyusha's can come forward.


Wittenburg captured, 150,000 rubles taken.
The rest of the turn was spent sending up reinforcements. I intend to take Luneburg, and them move up to Hamburg.

Does somebody know when the Americans will turn up in Italy? Do we still have a chance to take the peninsula without them arriving to "help" us?

Historically The americans invaded Sicily in July 1943, and invaded mainland Italy in September 1943, I can't imagine Captain Nemo having anything different happen... And after that the americans have to advance up the boot just to get to the southern edge of the map.

The allies didn't take Rome until June 1944, I think we still have some time before we see the Americans in Italy
