Königsberg falls to the advancing soviet forces, all vital facilities remain intact as the city was taken in an elaborate naval raid.

Liberation of the Danzig/Gdansk area and Bydgoszsz is expected to follow within short.

General Henrikov conveys his apologies to the North Western front commander, as Königsberg is planned to be location of the Baltic headquarters once the joint command of the Danzig-Königsberg area has ended he prefered to be able to inspect the city himself as soon as possible.
