Economic Report for month on September 1941

          opening balance: 5574,000 rubles
          closing balance: 940,000 rubles

          Tax Rates:
          Tax: 80%
          Science: 10% (short term reduction)
          Luxaries: 10%

Thanks to careful husbanding of the Soviet finances and the sytematic stripping of anything of value from the jaws of the German advance over a period of months a huge release opf funds was possible, and short-term production rates of the new KV-1 tank has suppased all expectations.

KV-1s rushbuilt in: Kaluga, Narva, Vorozneh, Serafimovia, Kalinin (strikes and protests in Demyansk halted production in that city), Kandalasha, Vipuri, Rostov and Tula (the funds avaliable enabled me to keep spending even after front-line requests were met)

Also rushbuilt: transport in UK, NKVD unit in Saratov.

Request for the Marshal: crack down-hard on dissent, we cant afford the losses in production.

Request for Armaments Minister: where are my labour brigades! We urgently need to increade oil production in the Caucuses airlifts of labour brigades by the end on next month requested.

Yes I will. I plan on comparing the beginning of the turn with the turn now. Which will show the difference in happiness and set the entertainers in the unhappy cities accordingly. That doesn't mean additional cities wont riot, but I cant put entertainers everywhere.......

The turn will be up tonight sometime around 0400 GMT.
            (Tonight means USA time)
