Voted no ICS, but how many city's can we build so we're not ICS'ing?

I don't think we should set a specific limit on built cities, but we should expect to have about as many as this past game. I think as long as we are developing the cities we build normally (as opposed to the specific minimalist ICS type), we won't have to worry we are ICSing. We'll naturally want to build a number of cities quickly at the start, though, and that's fine.

We could set ourselves a building limit of 10-15 city's so we have to conquer the rest.

This would give us a bit more of a military challenge.

We could consider that. Does anyone else want me to poll on a specific number of cities we can build?

can I suggest a restriction? No ending the game unless we get the maximum possible score.

Thats the kind of thing you put yourself through once.....

But as civ has a max number of city's and future techs, you can just calculate yourself to the max score.
(I've seen a seve file from a Russian guy who done that, looked very boring

Lets just limit our citybuilding so we actualy have to think twice about our military options

euhm you really want to kill some ppl? believe me a highscore game is very specific, most of the time there would be only one or 2 ministers who have a job, and the endgame would consist of a zillion carans moving back and forth(1 to 2 hours a turn...not what I would call a lot of fun for all the players)

Go wonders, Save the camel, let them live in peace, and I love big cities far from one another ICS
