Kind of hard to make concrete campaign promises without seeing a save game...
Nonetheless, it's important to achieve the space techs while balancing the needs of our military in the current Mongol crisis.
As Science Majordomo, I will examine the availability of key techs such as Labour Union (Mech Inf.) and how research of these would affect our Space campaign. I will also consult with other Ministers to determine whether a period of 'celebration' and the resultant population boost, might produce better long term science results.
I am strongly in favour of an aggressive trading strategy, which will improve out science output as well as our treasury.
Finally, if you vote for me I will do my utmost to get comely interns off the street and into my laboratory

Without sounding too pedantic, no specific fruit is mentioned as being tempting from the bible. Artists have assumed it is an apple, but in fact all the book in question says is "fruit from the tree on knowledge"
