  • DE Reports 1800

The first session is done. Short, because of a sneak attack, and delayed, because certain people prefer to sit back and whine like little schoolgirls instead of filling empty cabinet posts, and make me do those posts as well.

    Half-assed turnlog

1784-1788 – Not doing much, trading ‘n stuff

1788 – Negotiations with several civs, absolutely nothing achieved, China tries to get us to ally against the Celts; we decline, quite a bit of advance trading and deals going on between civs (Celts getting Polytheism from the Mongols, Mongols and Celts signing a peace treaty for instance). Industrialization discovered.

1792 – Someone discovered Railroad, tried to steal tech from Carths, but they have nothing new

1794 – Celts and Vikings sign "Llangollen Pact" to "contain New Apolytonian aggression". Illauntaig (Celtic) completes Darwin’s Voyage. Celts develop Industrialization. Celts develop Metallurgy. Celts undertake Women’s Suffrage. We discover Metallurgy.

1800 – Trading going on between Mongols and Vikings. Vikings finally get The Wheel. Celts sneak attack a dude who was wandering around on one of our lesser islands.

If we have any volunteers for City Planner or Trade Minister, I would be very grateful. I can probably live without a Trade Minister, but the lack of a City Planner is slowing things down a lot.

Cavebear said he'd do one of them.

Both Cavebear and Myself indicated that we would help in any way you asked of us when trying to get you to be president.

Neither of us has said anything different

It occurs to me that if the Celts got everything from us via the GL, and they got Darwins, they must have something to steal! Lets get a Dip up there quick!

                Using dips to steal techs

That would be upto the people to decide.

Actually, it's the "long-tailed bear" from around 1.75 M BC But I wouldn't expect you to know that.
