    Is this another difference in the Mac patch for MGE?

      I don't know about the specifics of MGE but CIV2.42 gives that notification too.

        No My version of MGE also does this after a new tech is discovered. It may occur due to Leo's upgradeing units becouse it will happen when the units are getting thier upgrades.

          We had better complete any Warriors we want in the 2 cities before the next tech is discovered...
