I have now join this feature so I am advertising the fact, I think this feature would be go for advertising as people can see that the Democracy game has many members it must be good and then join!Play the Demo Games!!

Actually, I have to say I like this idea (after some initial doubts about ease of moving on and off the list). Sure, someone could do that each time, but it would take some extra effort, and there is some value in seeing the information about each participant in a consolidated table.
(see, I'm not always against *every* change in the board)
