    Foriegn Minister's Report: China in 1160AD (the good one)

    Well, were in a war with them, thats not good, but I think there only at war with us is because they are allied with the Japs, and don't want to (but I could be wrong.) They have 338 gold there a Republic, and they have one tech that we don't, Feudalism, (as do Japan and the Carths.) What do we do, make peace, kept war, and steal, trade, none?

        Steal while we are at war, trade when we are at peace, unless we are really really desperate for some particular tech.

                    Nevertheless, I give my opinion :
                    Ok for peace and caravan delivery, but as Chinese are our competitors on science path, I'm against tech trade with them : Feudalism may be stolen from Japs or Carths !

                        Why did "trade with them" necessarily mean "trade knowledge for Feudalism"? I thought you meant Caravans to get beakers and gold.

                              I'm affraid most ppl probably thought you meant trade(as in caravans), I was one of them...we can now steal the tech...but we don't really need pikemen especially with musketmen coming soon to our aid.
