          the question really is, do we delay moving into a democracy for a war, or do we sit back and focus on AC.

            If we have a couple dips to spare, I agree that we should use the current war status to extract a couple key techs.

            After that, sue for peace.

            If we can't afford to use dips in this manner, ask for peace and keep a wary eye on them.

                My thoughts exactly. Since they are already at war with us, what harm could tech-stealing do?
