    I know that last turn we voted to research monarchy->writing->currency->trade, but times change, we haven't discovered monarchy yet, although we are researching it. now is the time to vote for what comes next, with a chance to overturn what was agreed on last time, so vote again!

      I think writing first and then head for trade , having the ability to build diplomats helps when incremantal rushbuying

      With any luck we will find new land with huts on it and pick up some techs that way.

                Ok as the new citizen I would like to show some responsibility for my country and participate so our minister see we care for them .

                Well it's definitely writing, the diplomat-unit is always instrumental in a game. Often one is more useful than a whole army.
