Good offense makes good defense. If we don't get into their faces in their backyard, they come looking for us in ours....
I'm not advocating total war (wow, I NEVER thought I'd say that!) as that's not the objective of this game. If we take over at least one or two of their cities on their home continent then to a significant degree we choose the battleground location on which they can waste their energies - cities where we have strong units well stacked. If we don't we'll be fighting skirmishes on lots of fronts
late in the game, in cities where we want to focus not on defensive units, but on spaceship components.

yep, you can consider yourself new citizen of our little empire.
The only thing you still have to do is sign up in the civgroups -> C2D.(IIRC you need this to be able to vote...or is this feature not added?I don't know anymore)
