Foreign Ministers report on the Carthaginians 1820 AD

The Carthaginians are a Despotism of 8 cities with 233 gold in the treasury, they are still as dumb as dog poo and are researching Navigation.

    Cities

Leptis Parva: (Capital) Unknown city location

Cartenna: Size 5 Coastal city with city walls Flag still flying

Gades: Size 5 inland city with city walls Flag still flying

Rusucurru: Size 3 coastal city with city walls, no flag so no defenders.

    Rusaddit: Unknown city location

Alalia: Size 2 coastal city , no walls,no flag, no defenders.

I think we should continue with what we are doing, kill everything that we can with navel bombardment and use spies to take down walls and find cities and crush defenders with cavalry or bribe any cities we can.

    Hydey tries map again

Whenever our forces get close enough to see them, they cry and run away. How can we make peace with them if they don't stop evacuating their cities?

Honestly, what is ours on their landmass we got in a couple of turns, no more.

Before I viewed this thread (note the 1812 in the title ), I made up my own map to show city guesses. Since it is virtually identical to the Foreign Minister's, I won't bother to post it. Excellent work!

I say we kill these near-neanderthals and move on to the next challenge! Looks like I'd better get the history done this week or there won't be much point in the effort...

              hehe...
Maybe we should make a poll and vote how long we think those Carths will survive?

Well, there is not many ways , but the order of actions are :
1/get the costal cities empty by shore bombardment,
2/find the capital, sabotage of its citywalls and take it by cavalry
2/bribe the inland cities and take or bribe the costal ones.
About hiden cities, the pink holes are good guesses, even near the poor alone militia, except the spot north of Alalia : I doubt of a city in the forest, I think it is nearer the isthmus and the fortress seen here (there is no dark area here, but the city may have been built after our last passage).
BTW : why is a clad sleeping near Cartenna with a flag on it ?
