Nothing inspirational here, nothing worthy of our great civ.
I'd like to see us go back to the drawing board on this.

This poll brings up a moral delema, if the 'Who needs money?' option wins, but the other options add up to more than half of the vote [meaning a majority of the citizens want a coin] does that mean we do, or do not want to have the coin?

                      Moral dilemna??

The Prez is in charge, the Prez posted the poll. So I think that means we'll do what the Prez sez.

Since it has nothing to do with the actual progress of The Game Itself, who cares?

OOPS!! I mean, the clever coin designers should all be lobbying tirelessly for the acceptance of their individual designs, which will create a tremendous rush of self-esteem to our most valued citizens, thus vastly upgrading the entire Democracy Game experience for all.

YES! Let There Be Coinage, However Lame And Silly It May Appear!!

But then we're playing the U.S. Government Game, not the Democracy Game.

Well, it appears the final results of the poll create some ambiguity!

No particular coin was prefered *more* than "no coin", yet there were 18 votes for "some coin" vs 9 for "no coin". I interpret this to mean that we should have a coin of the realm, but that none of the specific designs really excited the Citizens.

In a rare burst of dictatorial power-wielding, I, current President of the Democracy Game and Premier of our Communist Apolytonian Workers Paradise, declare that we shall have a coin, named "the Ounce". I further declare (guided by Citizen comments) that the front of the coin displays a single banana and that the back of the coin states "In Ming We Trust". The new coin is declared to be made of gold.

If any Citizen wishes to graphically depict the new coin, the government would be very grateful.

                            How about these coins?

I ripped off one of cavebears images for this and i apologize, but it was my favorit and i thought a fitting symbol for our currency.

I can't seem to get the images to appear so i will attach them as bitmap files.

Sorry about not having the " IN MING WE TRUST" on the back, i did this before i read that post. Also if i should post this image as anything other than BMP let me know.

I like the back alot, that is why I voted for Coin D.

What, one of my ideas was actually used?!(The ounce) I had thought that the citizens of Apolyton were smar-er, I mean, uh....VIVA APOLYTON!!!!

Kudos to Space for the idea of the coin!!!
