After looking at the maps it seems reasonable that the clad just south of Rome could take out two defending units. A musketeer from Citadel taking out that settler if it's still in the way. Go out and attack the city with the dragoon and still have backup musketeer to go in and take the city. After that bribe Napoli.

That would be the same as you said I suppose. The thing is if we are to risk the clad at Pisa. As they don't have any walls we could probably take that city in the same turn with a little help from the local dragoon though.

That would be three cities in one turn and the rest of the puny roman empire would be a piece of cake and the clads could go elsewhere.

A hearty well done to our troops for takeing all three objective cities. I would like to see memphis shange colors but from other threads it sounds like we are lacking in ground troops to defend with.

With bribing, troops are safe, then they upgrade with the next tech discovery.

I don't agree. It is so easy to empty a city of defenders with the Vet Ironclads that I don't think it is worth spending money for them. It's actually cheaper to rush new units to defend a conquered city than it is to bribe one.

if our superclads are ready, charge! If we discover a city and have a diplomat closer than hte superclads, bribe!
