  • After tech stealing

The techs that we don't have but the egyptians do are University, chemistry, economics, and medicine. We should be able to acquire these once we go to war with them. So, once we have these which of these techs should be prioritized?

    Explosives (engineers)

Metallurgy (cannons, coastal fortress, conscription w/democracy)

    Sanitation (sewer system)

    Theory of Gravity (Newton's)

Of these I'd say explosives would be the most beneficial.

Definitely explosives. Engineers are so much better than settlers it's not even funny.

IMHO, while explosives are important, we should first take Metallurgy, so as to get to Conscription as soon as possible.

Just how much faster are Engineers than Settlers? I don't think we need to do much terrain alteration at the moment, which is the main advantage in Engineers. Personally metallurgy is my pick for heading to Conscription and Riflemen and Cannons and Tactics and Cavalry and STEAMING BLOODY POOLS OF OUR ENEMIES IN LESS TIME THAN IT TAKES TO SKIN A, a...

          Sorry 'bout that.

With Leo's, Chemistry gets us instant engineers. Probably a good reason to build a couple more settlers while we're at it.

After that, I'd go for Theory of Gravity. Let's boost our science output and get on the road to Flight! (BTW, who owns Colossus? If we capture it, we can build a SSC...)

Axplosive, with Leonardo's, it burst all our settlers in engineers.
Then metalurgy, to continue to riflemen.
BTW, has any civ the Great Wall ? Metalurgy makes it caduc.

I'm afraid they will run out of techs we don't have pretty fast.

It would be nice to have Bridge-Building, though. Being able to get the most out of those gold-in-river squares would help a few of our cities production and trade.

i hate when i have to research that tech, I always search something more useful and get mad because i can´t build roads on rivers without it
