  • Mr. President!

With such a glorious Democracy as our own, I find no need to hide my reports in private memos. The people have spoken with a clear voice and I am glad to see you have listened. Our wisened scientists will soon grasp the concepts of Monotheism and we shall build a wonderful Chapel to the glory that is one God. This should please our citizens no end. With the peace, love, and understanding that will spring forth from this glorious Chapel, the hearts of our good citizens will be calmed and thay shall bask in the glory that your enlightened rule shall bring. Perhaps may I suggest that you have one of our acclaimed artists paint tributes to this one God, perhaps Michelangelo. He has shown great promise in his early works.

As for future scientific discovery, our good citizens believe that a grasp of the concepts of Invention would be a worthy goal. This could lead our people into a new era of advancement and they are eager to begin this journey. So, Mr. President, when the opportunity presents itself, I believe we should bend all of our scientific minds onto any advances which may lead to Invention.

the main goal this term was getting mikes completed.(you have the save + report, for the ppl :I'll post a history-report+screenshots tonight or tomorrow, cabinet already has the save so they can take a look and start thinking what they want to poll/change/whatever)

As you can see mikes is 2 turns of completion, next gameperiod I will focus on expansion and embassies.(we only have 2 diplo's=> one is protecting Citadel, wich is building one to send to Rome, the other one is looking around in the Babylonian territory, and will build an embassy whith them eventually)
Some Foreign info: everybody hates our guts they don't want to trade anything(I know they are able to trade stuff but they just don't want==>I would suggest sending some diplo's and get what they don't want to exchange.)
The only thing the babylonians know is WAR(becuase I don't want to give them Rep.

-->Maybe I could give 2 techs to get them to exchange or be a little more friendly toward us:
eg Rep for India,Rome and Babylon
and The wheel for America and Egypt
(but I doubt it will do any good=> let the ppl decide)

Another sidenote about wonders=> we should start a small stack of caravans so we can build Leo's the first turn possible, those Egyptians are building wonders quite fast, they just started building Adam Smiths. )

The Minister of City Planning hears snatches of conversation among the Workers: "Long live our Glorious President", they say. Your Minister echoes the words of the People!

And I note that Mike's will be built exactly when I predicted - 9 turns!

As Minister of City Planning, I can only agree that Adam Smith's is extremely valuable. It gives a great saving on the cost of infrastructure.

But a military expedition to acquire it will be a great burden on our Civ, and we do not know where or how quickly it is being built. Let us send a Diplomat to the Egyptians and see what we can learn. I would hate to lose Leo's while attempting to get Adam Smith's!

With the Workshop, as we gain new technologies, our soldiers will be upgraded immediately, and we will not have to wait several years to replace them with newly trained soldiers - This will give us a great advantage over our foes.

I believe we should wait until we have the Workshop, and have obtained enough new technologies to give us a military advantage over the Egyptians - And then we should strike them down and liberate Adam Smith from their clutches!
"For it must be noted, that men must either be caressed or else annihilated; they will revenge themselves for small injuries, but cannot do so for great ones; the injury therefore that we do to a man must be such that we need not fear his vengeance." - Niccolo Machiavelli

I agree, we should build Leo's Workshop before Adam Smith's. Our first diplomat (or explorer, if we ever build one) to Egypt should poke around to evaluate ease of access to the city that builds Adam Smith's. If it's a peripheral city, we could then visit it with several boats full of bad guys...
