The historians elected thus far have been a bunch of lazy bums! We need some new faces over at the imperial library. The first President of the first Apolyton Democracy Game (CivII, that is)

-Jrabbit returns...
...returns to find significant opposition to his unopposed candidacy. Talk about democracy in action! That's so cool!!!
And even cooler is the fact that, in the best Chicago tradition, my poll numbers add up to over 100 percent. This makes me confident of victory.
If not elected, I promise to do every bit as much as I did during my 2 weeks as volunteer historian.

It's four already. An oppositional political party forming? Anyway, opposition or not, at least the president can consider himself rightful elected now.

Why, 17 out of 21 is a good result, more than 80% and many more than a lot of "real life" candidate ever dream of. And opposition is a substantial part of a democracy, even more, a real democracy won't work without it.
What's a lot worse is, that only about 40% of our citizens voted at all. I dare to ask, where the majority (60%) has hidden? And why they consider themselves citizens of Apolytonia if they don't even vote. It's their only duty. So c'mon lazy jerks!

Is it just my impression that most of the "last" voters are opposing to everyone ??
--->WHY DIDN'T THEY SPEAK WHEN PPL WERE NOMINATING???
