/me wonders if the office of the Foreign Ministry is but a puppet for the Ministry of War. If we are to remain in war until the Minister of War says otherwise, it is unlikely that this war will end. Perhaps the Foreign Minister could develop a policy other than war with all we encounter? Though I am second to none in my respect for our armed forces, I do not think we should expect them to fight a war on three (or perhaps more) fronts.
I hope the people voice an opinion on this matter.

I would like to officially deny the notion that Hydey has his hand up my a*se.
When the FAM sees a reason for peace, there will be peace. ATM if the Minister of WAR is confident he has the troops for attacking, that is what shall happen. After all, you can't extort gold or tech without bonking heads, and we can't build caravans. We'd like Wonders, and this is the only way to get them.
However, your comments have given me an idea for a further remit for the FAM, and I will look into this for the next session.
We are only fighting one war at a time, if the other civs want to say we are at war , then that is fine with me, tell them to take a number and wait their turn.

Not much to say... we're at war, will stay like that until the Minister of WAR decides otherwise....
Since it's a demo-game I think it's up to the ppl to decide if we stay at war,not our SMC(he may try to influence everybody so we stay at war, but he really isn't the only voice in the discussion). btw since we encountered a new species(Americans) you could have done the poll.
Still awaiting the Cityplanner report.
and then off we go

May I ask the King when he expects to play, just so as to organise time to look at the save as quickly as possible when you deliver it
as soon as I get a go from the cityplanner.
