  • 2000BC - Matters of discussion

I have no idea where the Ministers are, or even if they have received the save. No-one has contacted me or posted anywhere bout it, so I can only assume they are all away somewhere.

There are a few things that need discussion before I can play any more. These are:

    1. What do we do with the recently found NONE settler?
    2. Who do we disband from Imperialis?
    3. Where do we start our new city(ies)?
    4. What do our cities build once a settler has come from each?

In order to kick off this discussion:

I think we should use this NONE settler to start improving terrain with roads around Imperialis. Perhaps a road leading to all the cities (except Glorificus)..?

We should disband the Warrior in Imperialis and move an Archer back there for defence. After all, Imperialis IS our capital and thus worth of a Capital Guard. That way we get some shields back from the disbanding too.

New cities should start reasonably close to the old ones with some overlap, positioned in the grassy areas to the North and South of our core cities. That grass is nice. Nothing more specific until I can get home and look at the save again.

Build settlers until most of the goodness around is filled and we have a few on work detail for roads etc. Then switch to Temples to enable some growth. Depending on when we locate other civs, build a barracks or two and build a small army.

    Any more ideas...?

These are things that need to be discussed and upon which a consensus must be reached before any continuation of the game, which I had hoped to play within 48 hours!
    Consul.

Back to the ROOTS of addiction. My first missed poll!

didn't get any save or anything...

I'm going to do some cut/past work with the maps and see what I can do.But i'm affraid I will need at least a list with our units and their relation to our cities(were are the possitioned and where are they homed) this should suffice for me to do some polling...you can PM me with this info...I'll put up a poll in 10h from now no matter what.

we need those trade arrows for some coinage and a little happiness booster.

as to the presidents 4 questions...

#1 Make use of this valuable comodity, build terrain improvements.
                          #2 Definatly the Warrior.
#3 I think we need to find out where some possible "hiddne specials" may be. then decide on some sepecific locations. In general however the river running thru Glorificus would make a great place for some begining cities as well as the NW of Majestica near those many ponds. One location that stands out in my eye is SW of Alexandria, a grassw/shield with furs and spice specials.
#4 wait and see how the game unfolds.
